Don’t Ever Give Up

 

It was scary.  Walking up the Galveston strand street one Friday morning.  Mic stand in hand, small speaker and bag of wires in the other.  The summer heat beating down heavy on anyone that dare outside of the shade. 

 

Heart beating with the speed of a hummingbirds wings...he laid down his mic stand, put his gear together…and began to sing.

 

It was tough in those beginning days.  But a few years later, I am now a professional vocalist who has had the privilege of entertaining scores of people from Texas to Louisiana.  I’ve entertained at Political fundraisers, Corporate holiday functions, business promotional events, weddings, birthday parties, restaurants, wine bars, and farmer’s markets.
